Little girl imitates mom working from home in hilarious video
A video of a little girl imitating her mother multitasking while working from home has gone viral on social media. The video was shared by Colleen Chulis, from Virginia, US, on her social media. It features Colleen's daughter Adelle copying how her mother worked from home.
In the one-minute-23-second video, the eight-year-old girl can be sitting at her mother's desk. She pretends to work on the computer and then receives a call. Adelle goes on to take notes on a notepad, while on the call, just like her mother does.
What makes the video hilarious is how her mother behaves when her children enter her workspace while she's attending to a call. She hushes them by whispering or snapping.
"My 8-year-old daughter asked me last night if she could do an impression of me. I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was the first and only take. I figured many of you might relate (and laugh) with the snapping and the multi-tasking. Covid changed a lot of things this past year and this has been a lot of my reality," Colleen wrote while sharing the video on LinkedIn.
Colleen told Good Morning America, "I'll say, 'We can do one, quick little video' and that's exactly how it happened."
Colleen has three children Luke (10), Adelle (8) and Declan (6).
One user said, "Hysterical and going on in many households these days!" Another wrote, "The snapping of the fingers is spot on LOL!"
A third user commented, "Too funny - how kids see us when working from home." Yet another added, "Awesome! I have seen this version of myself from my 8-year old as well. Love the dedication she put into this - just like her momma does for her Customers!!"
