Watch: 13-yr-old Iranian girl plays 'Jana Gana Mana' on santoor, Indians are in awe

Amidst this, a video of an Iranian girl playing 'Jana Gana Man', the national anthem of India, on a santoor has gone viral on social media for all the right reasons.

The girl wearing a yellow kurta and a colourful headscarf has won people's hearts on social media. The video has gone viral across platforms, as netizens cannot stop being mesmerised by the fact that the song is being recited by a girl who is not Indian.

The video was shared by Indian Forest Services officer Sudha Ramen on Twitter, who wrote, “National anthem in any form would give us goosebumps. Many thanks to this Iranian girl for this beautiful performance.”

The song was performed by 13-year-old Tara Ghahremani, who hails from Tehran, Iran. The Indian Embassy in Iran also shared Ghahremani's rendition on Twitter.

Ghahremani is quite famous for music as in 2020, she won the coveted Global Child Prodigy Awards in the ‘Musician’ category and was also among the Top 15 Child Prodigies of the year.

With her rendition of Jana Gana Mana’, Ghahremani now is winning the hearts of people in India, too, as her performance has left many delighted on the internet.
