Woman CEO talks about how she juggles work and motherhood

Motherhood isn’t easy and juggling work with a toddler has its own set of challenges. But Radhika Gupta, MD and CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, is not daunted by them. She took to Twitter to share a post and talk about how she manages the challenges.

Radhika shared a picture of her toddler and wrote how she manages work and, at the same time, her baby when there is no help at home.

“On a day when both parents have to work, and there is no help, guess who comes to work? Often asked how are you going to make a mom and CEO's life work. Well, a little planning, a lot of patience and a problem-solving attitude make things work. And a baby’s laugh does the rest,” the photo caption reads.

The post triggered numerous reactions. Some users wrote that they could absolutely relate to Radhika. Others wrote that this is a privilege and not everyone is entitled to it.

“Such things are available at higher management level only, maam. For an average office-going couple, clearly, it's a day off from work. Need such acceptance at all levels,” a user wrote.

“This is great. But ordinary female employees are not allowed to carry a baby to work. Most offices don't have a creche either,” another user wrote.
