Man orders book online, gets something else along with a 'sorry' note. So sweet, says Twitter
There are several incidents where people have unboxed a much awaited delivery from an e-commerce website only to find out that the received item is not even close to what was ordered. But this article is not about a consumer finding a slab of Vim bar instead of an iPhone. This story is about a person who received a children’s book because the seller simply didn’t have enough stock of the book he ordered.
The post was shared on Twitter by Kashish. It includes a photo of the book he received. Along with the wrong order, there was an ardent request and an apology note by the seller. “Dear Customer, we apologize for this order,” read the opening line of the letter.
“We have stock but in damaged condition. We will send you the other book. Don’t give negative feedback. Please cancel the order yourself. Please help this order sir,” the note read.
“I ordered a certain book from Amazon but they sent me this random book called looking for laddoo along with this letter like bhai what is going on,” read the caption.
The post has been viewed over 138k views. Twitter users couldn’t stop giggling at the post. While some of them pointed out, discrepancies in orders are a common thing; most of them were extremely sympathetic towards the seller. They pointed out that the gesture from the seller was a sincere one and they should not give negative feedback about it.
