 Let's face it. It is hard to leave our lives and live abroad. While the opportunities are great, you always miss a part of your home. And it is safe to say that a part of you will always stay desi. Well, something similar happened with this man who was in London and wanted to have parwal (pointed guard). Read on further to know what stopped him.

The post was shared on Twitter by Omkar Khandekar. It featured a picture of some vegetables at a market in London. There were green chillies, tomato, okra, bitter gourd and pointed gourds as well. However, the price for a kilo of parwal was a whopping 8.99 pounds, which is approximately Rs 919. Yes, you read that right.

"London is nice and all but parwal for Rs 900/kg," reads the caption of the post.

The post obviously grabbed eyeballs online and social media users were absolutely flabbergasted. They also had a lot to say about the high price of the humble parwal.
