FAIPS – DPS IN GAIETY AND CHEER AT CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES

At the most festive time of the year, the students of classes 5 to 12 and IGCSE, took part in a virtual celebration to showcase their talent and experience online during Christmas.

The students found a way to spread out happiness on the 25th of December amidst the agony and sorrow of the year 2020 and showcased their multidimensional talents online. The students seized this challenge to present their talent and skill through a medley of art forms. The participants submitted video recordings of their performances and pictures of artwork which was telecast live on Christmas eve. The students sang individually and in groups, a number of merry carols to lighten the hearts and uplift the spirits. Many talented instrumentalists added charm to the event with their flawless performances, giving an aura of sublime melody. An excerpt of the play by Charles Dickens, ‘A Christmas Carol’ aptly conveyed the Christmas message of charity. An exhilarating collage of mesmerizing art work on canvas, charts & cards, Christmas decorations with best out of waste, candle decorations and colourful pictures of students developing their culinary skills baking delicious cookies and cakes, brought out their abundant versatility. The resilience and perseverance of the students of Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS DPS) sparked delight in every mind and to whole-heartedly enjoy the last few days of 2020.

The pandemic situation has not dimmed the students’ enthusiasm nor curbed their passion to perform, adapting to the challenges. The students thanked the Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli for being a constant source of guidance and motivation in making this event possible. The event ended with a fervent hope for a new year filled with delight and joy.
