Bhavans SIS Annual Prize Day 2020-21

Parents and students watched the magnificent array of their certificates presented by the class coordinators and HODs.

Bhavans Smart Indian School is full of admiration for her students for they are full of energy. Bhavans SIS paid all the students an enormous compliment for grabbing the opportunities all along the academic and non-academic competitions and thrived to the full. Accolade to all the high-flyers who employed considerable ingenuity in the activities throughout the academic year 2020-‘21 through online platforms MS Teams and Zoom under the able guidance of the principal Mr. Mahesh Iyer and the management.

The first ever virtual Annual Prize Day ceremony was conducted at 9 a.m. on 11 March 2021 to felicitate the students (also parents for competitions) based on their accomplishments in academic and non-academic / extracurricular competitions in the Year 2020-21 and the All Rounder Award Winners and the National Math Olympiad winners of the year 2019-2020 were honoured through certificates. This stream of appreciation by the management and teachers was live streamed through the school Facebook ID.

All Rounder Award is based on their performance in academics, sports, co-curricular activities, discipline, punctuality and behaviour throughout the year. It is given to a student from each section. Mrs. Thusara, the academic coordinator announced the All Rounder Award Winners of the academic year 2019-2020. All the brilliant All-Round Award Winners were honoured through certificates by Bhavans Middle East Chairman Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon.

NMO results of the academic year 2019-2020, five shields winners and 58 gold medallists, were presented by Mr. Victor, high school HOD of Mathematics, and the dazzling champions were honoured by Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Principal of Smart Indian School.

Primary School Math Wizard competition results of the academic year 2020-21 were presented by Mrs. Reni George, primary HOD of Mathematics, and the winners, one from each grade, were honoured by Ms. Albin Daisy, Vice Principal of SIS.

Class coordinators, Ms. Hiral [g1], Mrs. Areline (g2), Ms. Kajal [g3], Mrs. Reshmi [g4], Mrs. Reka [g5], Mr. Jonas Peter Fernandes [g6], Mrs. Betty Joseph [g7], Mrs. Beena [g8], Mrs. Bhavitha [g9], and Mr. Sreekanth [g10], Mrs.Saritha (g11) had presented the certificates of achievement classwise from grade 1-11 and all the winners, grade 1 [361 champs], grade 2 [327 champs], grade 3 [305 champs], grade 4 [143 champs], grade 5 [117champs], grade 6 [65 champs], grade 7 [64 champs], grade 8 [90 champs], grade 9 [31 champs], grade 10 [25 champs] and grade 11 (15champs) were greatly honoured. The winners in the category of parents and grandparents were honoured by Mrs. Saritha, HOD of science department.

Bhavans Middle East Chairman Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon said, in his address, that he was so happy to see his students accomplish what they have been hoping for and working towards all round development. He congratulated them on their well-deserved achievement and added that maybe a little victory shall be reminiscence in the future, and it shall bring flashes of sweet thoughts and smiles.

Eventually this prize day ceremony encouraged and motivated all the students and sent a moral boost to perform better in their future ahead. Parents were given a quick access to the certificates with an option to download them from MS Teams.

Remarkable acknowledgement on the successful completion of the academic year 2020-‘21 was placed on record by the admirable leader Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Principal of Smart Indian School. He appreciated all the industrious students and diligent parents for their participation in all the competitions. He thanked the management and all the smart teachers for their strong determination and absolute efforts that made this academic year’s activities a successful one.
