BHAVAN’S IES AND JACK AND JILL NURSERY SCHOOL CELEBRATE ANNUAL DAY & GRADUATION DAY

The day started off with the prayer, recital of verses from the Holy Quran, and the lighting of the ceremonious lamp of knowledge ‘Deepa Jyothi’.

Even amidst all the activities both academic and co-curricular, making this year so packed with tons of excitement, every student and teacher of the Bhavans Kindergarten section had their eyes set on one MEGA event of the year “KG Annual day & Graduation ceremony.” The beams of laughter, fruits of hard work, and deserving appreciation were the outcome of the most awaited big day.

Bringing closure to yet another kindergarten year, IES and Jack & Jill (nursery branch of Bhavans at Mangaf) achieved the milestone of celebration in conducting a Virtual KG Annual Day and Graduation Ceremony. It was a unique mega five-day event held during the first and second weeks of March 2021.

The day started off with the prayer, recital of verses from the Holy Quran, and the lighting of the ceremonious lamp of knowledge ‘Deepa Jyothi’. The Kindergarten Supervisor, Ms. Rajni Menon, and the coordinators of the Kindergarten wing graciously delivered the inaugural and welcome address on those days. The budding and poised students of the Kindergarten wing steered the mega event as they emceed the show with unabated confidence displaying their oratory skills. Those budding talents rocked the virtual podium and won the heart of every onlooker.

Principal Mr. T Premkumar, in his address to the virtual gathering, underscored the academic excellence and holistic development of kids through many a scholastic and co-scholastic activity conducted by the pedagogues par excellence.

The Annual report of the Kindergarteners was presented by the vice principal (IES-KG & Primary) Mrs. Lalitha Premkumar. She highlighted the numerous laurels and accolades garnered by the kindergartners for their curricular and extracurricular excellence. The report was streamed in a motion of video clippings of the entire year’s events including competitions, celebrations, and activities.

The Virtual ceremony was attended by the Chief guests, dignitaries, and members of Bhavans management team that included the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. N. K Ramachandran Menon, Director of Bhavans Middle East CA Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Principal of IES Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal of SIS Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Vice Principals of IES and KG Supervisor of SIS and Jack and Jill Nursery School, Ms. Rajni Menon.

CA Divya Rajesh Ramachandran (Director Bhavans Middle East) addressed the parent community on the topic ‘Effective Parenting'. A few very important tips from her powerful speech were- to give children that leeway to explore and do things on their own, allow them to be a part of their daily chores, and have a predictable routine set for the little ones by their parents. She also requested the parents to allow children to solve problems themselves and not to over-indulge.

The student and parent audience accrued words of wisdom from the speeches delivered by the chief guests of these days. Ms. Anselma Tessy, Ms. Meenakshi Nayyar, and Ms. Albin Daisy, the Vice Principals of Bhavans Kuwait emphasized the importance of reading at an early age, values of good parenting, and so on.

Chief guest, Ms. Sharil Dimri, the KG coordinator of Bahrain Indian School, highlighted the values of hardship which could bring resilience in the life of children. The wisdom of positive influence was percolated to the viewers by the amiable chief guest of the last day Ms. Muneera Mammikutty, the HoD of English, IES Primary Wing who narrated a powerful story using finger puppets.

IES student Tops Bhavans Middle East schools in JEE Main 2021 Examination

The cultural program began with a ‘Welcome Dance’ presented by the students of UKG. Vibrant music, dance, and breathtaking colors of their costumes with a blend of highly coordinated movements promptly set the tone and mood of the audience.

The graduating students of UKG were honored with inscribed scrolls and a memory folder with their class photographs, proffered by their parents while their teacher praised them for their talents and achievements, reminiscing their journey as Kindergarten students. It was indeed heartwarming to see teary-eyed parents feeling overwhelmed witnessing their little angels growing into butterflies ready to flit away into the yonder sky.

The show starrers of LKG left everybody spellbound with their amazing talents and individual performances on the various popular numbers. Those dancers were the youngest ones in the school, but their graceful steps were indeed professional. Some of them showcased their extraordinary talent in music and acting too. The program culminated in awe, merry, mirth and relentless rounds of applauses. Be it virtual or real, Bhavans brings out the best in every child. A miraculous feat that every institution wishes to accomplish.
