Bhavans Kuwait celebrates its 17th Founder's Day

The big day was celebrated with great gusto and vigour on 3rd September in the Smart Indian School auditorium.

It is the day when a thought, a philosophy or a vision is transformed into concrete reality. The philosophy becomes the guiding star for the institution to take form, grow and become an invincible reality as our insightful Chairman N.K Ramachandran Menon laid the foundation stone of Bhavans Kuwait in the year 2006 with a vision to impart quality education to the children. He reiterated to ‘lead by example’ and emphasized on the need to acknowledge that the mantle of being one of the topmost legacy schools of the country comes with its share of responsibilities. Since the foundation stone was laid, the institution has progressed by leaps and bounds.

The big day was celebrated with great gusto and vigour on 3rd September in the Smart Indian School auditorium. The commemoration began with Kuwait National Anthem and Quran recitation followed by lighting of the lamp and the entire ambience came alive when the congregation sang the prayer song.

This day is a ‘day of gratitude’ for Bhavanites. The Principal of Smart Indian School, Mr. Mahesh Iyer and the Principal of Indian Education School, Mr. T. Premkumar with Bhavans Parivar came together for praising the obligations by seizing the moment with cake cutting and draping the shawl on the chairman. He addressed the gathering showcasing the all-encompassing growth of the institution with support and good wishes.

The mega event of the day was the cultural extravaganza on the theme ‘The Maestro- One Man, Many Stories’. A diversity of art, dance, music, and drama through which the most of talented teachers and children unravelled the significance of noblest human virtues namely love, togetherness and respect.

The teachers who completed fifteen, ten and five years of service in the school, and the grade coordinators were honoured with a token of appreciation. The splendid and spectacular show left the audience spell bound. The program culminated with singing of the Indian National anthem.

It was indeed not just a feast to the eyes and ears but an ecstacy to the mouth with a banquet which nourished our souls thanks to the management for the kind gesture.
