Teacher's Day celebration 2022@ ASIS
Keeping in mind the recognition given to the teachers, Al Saad Indian School’s Student Council members and the students of the senior wing organized a fiesta on September 5, 2022, as an attempt to express their gratitude to their facilitators. The events of the day unfurled with the senior students stepping into the shoes of the teachers. Throughout the morning, the senior students taught different subjects which was pre-approved by the teachers, following lesson plan proposals from interested students. The student teachers were rated by the teachers and the Best Student Teacher will be rewarded during the Annual day function.
Principal, Dr. Bhavna Gupta, in the presence of Vice Principal, Mr. Thomas Francis, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. “I feel proud to see the number of students who wanted to experience teaching first-hand, regardless of career ambition.”, said Dr. Bhavna Gupta, the Principal while addressing the student community. She also extended her warm wishes to all the teachers and emphasised that only teachers can manifest peerless altruism for their students in any circumstance. The teachers enjoyed the enticing skit which aptly portrayed the cosmic value of a teacher in a student’s life. This was followed by some exciting games for the Principal, Vice Principal and teachers. The dance performance of the students left the teachers truly enthralled. The teachers also received a token of love from the Principal. The day of merriment thus culminated with joyful bond between the teachers and students. Teachers were made to feel special by the students who organized activities and performances specially dedicated to them and gave the teachers a day to remember.
