BHAVANS AL AIN CELEBRATES ITS FOUNDER’S DAY

The teachers who completed five years of service in the school were honoured with a token of appreciation.

The Bhavans family of Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain and Bhavans Pearl Wisdom School , Al Ain collectively celebrated it’s 9th and 3rd Founder’s Day respectively on September 10, 2022. The event christened as ‘Anandotsav’ was indeed a platform for the Bhavanites to show their love and reverence to the founder of the school and value his legacy.

After the recital of verses from the Holy Quran and the rendition of the UAE National Anthem by the choir, Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, Founder and Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran Menon, Vice Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, Dr. Bhavna Gupta, Principal of Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain, Dr. K. T. Nandakumar, Principal of Bhavans Pearl Wisdom School, Al Ain, Mr. Suresh V. Balakrishnan, Principal of Private International English School, Abu Dhabi, and Mr. Thomas Francis, Vice Principal, Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain, conjointly lit the ceremonial lamp at the function held in the UAE University Auditorium, Al Ain. After the Keynote address, the Chairman in the presence of all the other dignitaries, unveiled the first volume of the 6th edition of HUES- The Bhavans Journal in the Middle East.

The welcome address was delivered by the Head Boy of Al Saad Indian School, Adil Bin Shameer. Principals, Dr. Bhavna Gupta and Dr. K.T. Nandakumar gifted the Honorable Chairman with a memento to express their love and appreciation towards him. CA. Sooraj Ramachandran, Vice Chairman, reminisced the Bhavan’s glorious journey and CA Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Director, was in her praise of the Chairman’s iconic leadership. Mr. Suresh V. Balakrishnan, Principal of Private International English School, Abu Dhabi felicitated during the occasion. The teachers who completed five years of service in the school were honoured with a token of appreciation. The star pedagogues who obtained a perfect hundred in their respective subjects in the CBSE Board Exam 2021-22 were also acknowledged on the most memorable day. The day also celebrated the partnership of the Al Saad Indian School with New Al Salam Center for Orthodontics and Dental, Al Ain. The Operational Manager of the center, Dr. Mathew V. Joseph was gifted with a memento in recognition of their initiative to sponsor and guide the Health and Wellness Club of the school.

There were felicitations by teachers who completed 5 years and by parents of both the schools in Al Ain. The cultural programmes that followed was indeed a roller coaster ride of blissful music, exhilarating rendition and the peppy dance numbers. A blend of modern with traditional programs were showcased by teachers and students of Grade 10 and 12. The day ended with the head girl of Al Saad Indian School, Lavanya Loganathan conveying thanks to the level of immense propensity to all the luminaries of the day, invited guests, parents and tons of untiring efforts of endless number of students and teachers.
