Indian Education School Celebrates Hindi Diwas

To commemorate and celebrate the popularity of Hindi language, Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14th September each year.

Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great vigor and grandeur under the aegis of the Department of Hindi at Indian Education School on September 12, 2022. The students showcased an array of activities. The Principal, Mr. T. Premkumar, presided over the function.

To commemorate and celebrate the popularity of Hindi language, Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14th September each year. This year, great emphasis was given to speaking the Hindi language. Various speaking activities were held from grades 1 to 10 to encourage students to speak Hindi. Colourful posters reiterating the importance of the language were aesthetically displayed on the class bulletin boards.

The eventful day started off with a special assembly by the students of the Primary Wing. Muhammad Zeshan Sujas Koomullil of grade 4 recited the Holy Quran. The prayer song was rendered by the students of grade 4. Aylin Elsa Anil and Pratibha Ramesh of grade 4 presented the thought for the day and new word respectively. Zooni Naveed of grade 3 and Ranveer Rohitkumar Vachhani of grade 2 delivered speeches in Hindi. Anagha Suraj of grade 5, enthralled the audience with her mesmerizing dance moves. All the students of grades 1 and 2 soulfully rendered the song ‘Honge Kamyaab’.

The principal, in his impeccable Hindi, spoke to the children about the beauty of the Hindi language. He enlightened the students with various insights into the scope, development, and popularity of Hindi. He said that it is important to learn Hindi to reach the people anywhere across India.

He appreciated the efforts taken by Ms. Vijaya Indra Krishok, Head of the Primary Hindi Department, and her team in training the young kids. He was enthralled by the performance of the children especially the poetry recitation rendered by the students of grade 3. He congratulated each participant individually and asked them to continue their good work when they move to higher grades as well.

IES Commemorated National Nutrition Week 2022

Headmistress, Ms. Muneera Mammikutty appreciated the students for their excellent performance. She recited a poem in Hindi and spoke about the importance of the Hindi language. She appreciated the efforts taken by the Heads of the Hindi Department, Ms. Swarna Saini, Ms. Betty Joseph, Ms. Vijaya Indra Krishok and their team for making the event a grand success.

Khadija Mudassar Pavne of grade 1, Afreen Fathima Haris of grade 2, Aadvika Vinay Rao C, Riddhimaan Dev of grade 3, and Akshaya Sreeram of grade 4 presented Hindi poems of renowned and acclaimed poets. Dramatic skills were enlivened through the ‘Nukkat Natak’ staged by the Student Council. Other programmes included a character portrayal by Advika Ram of grade 6, an advertisement by Amanna Binu George of grade 7, and a story by Dania Amir Jafri of grade 9. Devang Koroth of grade 4 left the audience spellbound with his mellifluous song. Dhyuti Manu and Syed Mahammed Zaid of grade 5 were the emcees of the day.

Gen Z needs to know how important the relevance of the Hindi language is or for that matter any native language. Taking pride in what our country stands for must be inculcated in students at a very early age. Standing firm to its agenda, Bhavans Kuwait provides ample experiences for the holistic development of students while staying firmly rooted to the Indian culture and heritage.
