Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain, is full of admiration for having a vibrant group of parents and students. Parents, the vital partners in school, serve as a significant link between home and school. We strongly believe that when parents become involved in the life of the school, they make our school a better place to learn, grow and thrive. SAMARPANA 2022-’23, the signature programme of Bhavans Al Ain scheduled on September 30, 2022, turned out to be a conducive platform where the parents showcased their innate talents. The event helped in expanding the school’s partnership in an extensive manner involving all the parents in an effective manner.

The chief guest of the day, Dr. K. Sudhakaran, Director, New Al Ain Medical Centre, inaugurated the event in the presence of the Director of Bhavans Middle East, CA Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Dr. Bhavna Gupta, Principal, Al Saad Indian School and the Vice Principal, Mr. Thomas Francis. The Chief Guest, the Guest of Honour – Mr Rasal, and the other dignitaries along with the parent representatives conjointly lit the ceremonial lamp at the function held in the School Auditorium thereby unveiling the rainbow-coloured backdrop of the fiesta amid jubilation. The cultural gala organized by the parents- an array of a spectacular blend of events like Songs-Solo & Duet, Giddha-Punjabi folk dance, Thiruvathira, Cinematic dance and Painting accompanied by music won plaudits from the onlookers. A few parents enthralled the audience with their mellifluous voice through the rendition of some of the popular songs while the others mesmerized the gathering with their graceful classical as well as western steps capturing the essence of music. The highly encouraging audience and well-wishers added charm and energy to the show. The school presented a token of appreciation to the Emcees of the show- Ms. Aparna Vomi, M/o Sasha of grade 7 and Nyssa of grade 3; Dr. Pankaj Tardeja & Dr. Seema Pankaj Tardeja, parents of Tanishq Pankaj Tardeja of grade 8 and all the others parents who presented various programmes so as to appreciate their valuable contribution and constant support.

BHAVANS IES CELEBRATES TEACHERS DAY AS TEACHERS’ COMMITMENT DAY

Food stalls with a variety of cuisine in parent-teacher partnership served mouth-watering delicacies. The gourmets among the audience jostled to relish the savouries and sweets alike. ‘Navrathri’ was also celebrated along with this with gusto wherein performed by the Director, Principal, Parents, Teachers and the student community rejuvenated the vibrancy of the Navarathri and the essence of the festivity was truly felt.

CA Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Director of Bhavans Middle East reiterated that the enormous effort and unstinting support of the parent community has given Bhavans Al Ain the impetus to do better each time. She also spoke on the nine forms of blessing that one receives during the Navratri and extended her warm wishes on the occasion. “Bhavans Al Ain not only gives importance to academics but also conveys the importance of preserving tradition and culture.” said Principal, Dr. Bhavna Gupta. Mr. Thomas Francis, Vice Principal, wholeheartedly conveyed an appreciation note to the parent community for making the event a memorable one. The eventful day that witnessed unparalleled camaraderie, came to an end with a thank you note extended by Ms. Bhadra, mother of Vysakh B. Hari of grade 8.
