Diwali Celebration at IES Kindergarten

Diwali Celebration at IES Kindergarten

Children came to school in their ethnic wear and shared sweets with their friends, teachers, and aunties.

Let us move from ignorance to wisdom and from darkness to light.

Diwali celebrations at school often take a festive look with rangolis, ‘diyas’ and lanterns adorning the campus. The activities permeate the school premises with an atmosphere of togetherness and positivity. The kindergartners of Indian Education School celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm. The young children proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries. To mark the occasion, many colourful events were organised on Sunday, October 23, 2022 for the little ones of Indian Education School, in their respective classes.

Kejriwal's Diwali-special Appeal to PM Modi: 'Introduce Currency Notes with Images of Lakshmi-Ganesh'

Children came to school in their ethnic wear and shared sweets with their friends, teachers, and aunties. After showing a video on the story of Diwali, the teachers spoke to the children about the significance of the festival, the importance of sharing and caring, victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. UKG students made beautiful lanterns while LKG students made attractive paper ‘diyas’. The kindergarten section was beautifully decorated with colourful ‘rangolis’, ‘diyas’, and lanterns.

The day ended with prayerful wishes by the teachers:

May the light of positivity dispel darkness

And bring in immense joy and success

To the divine we pray

May he keep our little ones

In his tender care

May they find love and laughter

Along the way!
