FAIPS -DPS Inducts Deputy Student Council 2022-23

A grand march past ensued with students marching smartly onto the stage to take their position.

FAIPS, DPS inducted, with much elegance, the office bearers of the Deputy Student Council comprising Class XI students on Sunday, 23rd October 2022 in the Multi-Purpose Hall of the school. Inducting 39 competent members, the school once again had a stellar display of the leaders it nurtures for the future.

The swearing-in ceremony commenced with Tahe-Al Kuwait by Sami and Mohammed followed by the recital of verses from the Holy Quran by Saqib. After seeking the blessing from the Almighty the Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli addressed the viewers with his words of wisdom and motivation, which stimulated confidence, incitement and motivation in the appointees. He urged the students to work hard with integrity and persistence.

Then the names of the newly appointed office bearers were announced and various teachers of concerned departments were invited to pin the badges to the members. This was followed by oath taking ceremony administered by the Principal, wherein the council members in all seriousness and solemnity, pledged the oath of commitment and dedication to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities. It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness to their children being invested as they embarked on a new journey, as leaders.

The Vice Head Boys, Johan Varghese Sajan and Muhammad Rayhaan, and Vice Head Girls, Meera Acharya and Sharon Maria Thomas then addressed the audience as they reaffirmed their responsibilities as council members while expressing gratitude to their mentors who had guided the council and made the event a majestic success.

It was a day to respect and acknowledge the newly recruited appointees and repose trust in them. The event culminated with the singing of the School Song and the Indian National Anthem.
