Bhavans SIS & JnJ KG 'Role Model Day'

A role model is someone we admire and look to for direction and guidance. Anyone can be a role model in a child’s life, such as a parent, friend or teacher. Children tend to mimic their role models, so how the role model act in different situations impacts how the child will act in a similar situation in the future. 

It was an inspiring day at Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Preschool. The kindergarten tiny tots on this day were asked to select a role model and come dressed like them. The teachers were amazed to see the kindergarteners dressed up as their parents, grandparent, sibling, or caregiver. Some even considered their teachers as a part of their family and came dressed like them. The little ones spoke a few sentences about their role models whom they see as their superheroes and mentors. It was wonderful seeing these tiny tots enact and mimic their role models.   

It was indeed a day that left an indelible mark in the minds of the young and the old.
