English Language and World Book Day at Bhavans Smart Indian School

Bhavans Smart Indian School celebrated the English Language and World Book Day from 16th – 19th April, 2023 with a plethora of literary activities that encouraged the speaking, reading and writing skills among students of Primary, Middle and Senior school. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to share their pleasure for reading. The celebration aimed to encourage children to explore the pleasure of reading books and promote reading.

The students of grades 1,2 and 3 had Storytelling Competition where the tiny tots enthusiastically narrated moral stories and Fairy tales. The smart students of grades 4 and 5 displayed their oratory skills and expressed their ideas in the Elocution Competition. The immensely talented students of classes 6-8 participated in the Book Review Competition and grades 9-11 gave wings to their imagination in the Poem Writing Competition.

Every day is a celebration of this beautiful language by itself but the entire week specially dedicated towards the language made it even more special. The credit is to the English department that carried out the programme delightfully and with full of smiles on the faces of teachers and students.
