Kindergarten Day Celebration at Bhavans IES

The day started with teachers welcoming the colourfully dressed children into the classes with songs, handshakes, and fist bumps.

Every child lends a special hue to the canvas of learning at IES and together our children create a ‘RAINBOW OF POSSIBILITIES’.

Kindergarten is the first concept of school a child experiences. Kindergarten education helps children perceive school learning environment as fun and it focuses on creative and interesting ways to explain letters, numbers, and nature. The children of Bhavans Indian Education School celebrated the National Kindergarten Day on 20th April honouring the founder of kindergarten, Friedrich Frobel who developed the concept making the transition from home to school for children easy.

The day started with teachers welcoming the colourfully dressed children into the classes with songs, handshakes, and fist bumps. The KG1 children coloured printouts of stars and used their creativity to make cute headbands with the help of their teachers. KG2 children on the other hand came up with super cute rainbow badges. It was a sight to behold watching them walk proudly flaunting their creation.

The kindergarten at IES allows young children to experiment, explore and enjoy learning through interesting, hands-on activities that make children active participants in their own learning. The young learners are nourished with knowledge and skills through a well-planned play-based pedagogy. IES takes care of the children in their garden as envisaged by Frobel. The celebration of National Kindergarten Day was indeed exciting and memorable.
