INVESTITURE CEREMONY AT AL AIN AL SAAD

The investiture ceremony, held on May 19, 2023, at 9:30 a. m. in the AC Auditorium of Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain, was an esteemed event that brought together students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests to celebrate the appointment of student leaders and entrust them with the responsibility of leading the school. The ceremony followed a meticulously planned order of events, showcasing the spirit of leadership, unity, and dedication among the participants.
The event commenced with a soulful Quran recitation, setting a serene and reverent atmosphere within the auditorium. The recitation resonated with the audience, reminding them of the importance of seeking guidance and wisdom in their leadership journey. As the echoes of the Quran recitation faded away, the entire gathering stood in respect as the UAE National Anthem filled the auditorium. The national anthem united everyone in a display of patriotism, emphasizing the values of unity and loyalty towards the host country.




Nakshatra Sushaj, a student representative, delivered a warm and heartfelt welcome speech. Her words expressed gratitude to the esteemed guests, teachers, parents, and fellow students for their presence and participation in this momentous occasion. Following the welcome speech, the much-awaited badge and sash distribution ceremony took place. The Senior Head Boy, Anjaney Baiju, and Senior Head Girl, Fathima Narmin, along with other 17 appointed members of the Student Council, stood tall on the stage, ready to receive their badges and sashes. The chief guest of the day, Dr. Ibrahim Ali Mohamed, Chairman of the board of directors of the Emirates Environmental Friends Association, along with other dignitaries, adorned with their own symbols of authority, approached each leader, symbolically passing on the responsibility and trust of leadership.
The atmosphere grew charged with anticipation as the entire student council gathered on stage for the oath-taking ceremony. Led by the Principal, Dr. Bhavna Gupta, each student recited the oath with conviction and determination, pledging their allegiance to the values and principles of the school, promising to carry out their duties with integrity and dedication.
Dr. Ibrahim Ali Mohamed, Chairman of the board of directors of the Emirates Environmental Friends Association, graced the occasion as the chief guest. His presence added prestige to the event, and he delivered an inspiring message that highlighted the significance of leadership, environmental consciousness, and the role of students in shaping a sustainable future.
The principal, Dr. Bhavna Gupta, addressed the gathering, commending the student leaders for their achievements and encouraging them to lead by example, with empathy, and with an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her words resonated with the audience, instilling a sense of pride and responsibility in the newly appointed leaders. Mr. Thomas Francis, the Vice Principal, followed with an insightful address, imparting valuable wisdom to the student leaders. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and the pursuit of knowledge in their leadership journey, inspiring them to become well-rounded individuals.
In response, Anjaney Baiju and Fathima Narmin, the Senior Head Boy and Senior Head Girl respectively, delivered a heartfelt reply, expressing their gratitude and determination to fulfill their roles to the best of their abilities. Their words reflected their commitment to lead with integrity and passion, inspiring their peers to join them in their endeavors.
The ceremony concluded with Khush Yadev, a student representative, delivering the vote of thanks. Khush expressed sincere appreciation to all the guests, teachers, and students for their active participation and support. She extended heartfelt gratitude to the school administration for organizing a successful investiture ceremony, which would leave an indelible mark on the student leaders' lives.
