Prior to the inspection a self-evaluation process was done by the individual schools for which the Senior leadership team and Middle leadership teams were given adequate training at the beginning of the academic year. The main objective of the self-evaluation is the gathering and analysis of evidence to help informed judgements about effectiveness of the school and the use of this information to bring about improvements that will have the most impact on student achievement and development.

The schools were well prepared with evidence that comprised externally validated quantitative achievement data that indicated the attainment, progress and learning skills of students, internal quantitative data, external quality assurance, views and perceptions and documentary evidence.

The inspection team assessed Students’ achievement, Students’ personal and social development and their innovation skills, Teaching and assessment, Curriculum, Protection, care, guidance and support of students, Leadership and management and overall performance of the school.

The inspection was carried out in a very professional manner and the inspection team maintained purposeful and productive dialogue with all those evaluated and communicated judgements sensitively but clearly and frankly. The inspectors also had sessions with representatives of the student community and the parent community.

Bhavans Kuwait Schools have always been trend setters when it comes to innovation and quality in the field of education and overall development of students. They are the first schools to have an exclusive inspection with the objective of improving quality of education.

The Chairman of Bhavans Middle East Schools Mr.N.K. Ramachandran Menon and his strong, vibrant, and committed Management team leaves no stone unturned to bring about constant innovations in their institutions and equip their stakeholders to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
