Teachers’ Professional Commitment Day Celebrations at IES

The celebration began with Principal extending greetings for Teachers' Day to the teachers of IES on behalf of Mr. N.K. Ramachandran, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East

Indian Educational School Bhavans, Kuwait celebrated Teachers’ Day with great pomp and enthusiasm on September 5, 2023. The event took place in the school auditorium at 12:30 p.m.

The celebration began with Principal Mr. T. Premkumar extending greetings for Teachers' Day to the teachers of IES on behalf of Mr. N.K. Ramachandran, Chairman Bhavans Middle East, and on his own behalf during the morning assembly. Fida Ancy, the Senior Vice President of the Student Council, warmly welcomed the teachers. The principal then administered a commitment oath, emphasizing their dedication to safeguarding the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of the students.

The event's inauguration was graced by the presence of Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal, Ms. Meenakshi, Senior Vice-Principal, Mr. Binoy Mathew, Vice-Principal and Headmistress, Ms Muneera Mammikutty. Together, they marked the occasion by cutting a cake arranged by the members of the student council. This was followed by a heartwarming video message from Ethan Bobby Kurian, an alumnus currently pursuing his studies at IIT Hyderabad. In his message, he expressed his deep gratitude to the teachers at Indian Educational School for their pivotal role in shaping his life.

The senior students took over the charge of the classes and gave the teachers a break from their regular teaching duties so that they may participate in the celebration organized by the student council.

The program featured a diverse range of cultural activities, including games, dances, songs, and musical instrument performances. Students from both the Middle and Senior wings came together to deliver a captivating dance performance in honor of Teachers’ Day, and the music band, featuring solo and duet performances, added a delightful touch to the show. The efforts and talents of the students were highly appreciated by all in attendance. The celebration culminated with the distribution of chocolates and cakes, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and accomplishment. The event was a resounding success, celebrating the dedication and hard work of the teachers at Indian Educational School Bhavans, Kuwait.
