Radiant Reverence: Illuminating Insights on Prophet Nabi's Birthday Celebration
A splendid Special Assembly, orchestrated by the Department of Islamic Studies and steered by the capable hands of Ms. Maimona, the Head of Department, graced Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain, on September 27, 2023, in honour of Prophet Nabi's birthday. Commencing with a serene Quran Recitation, the melodious UAE National Anthem, and an enchanting Prayer song, the event transcended into a tapestry of enlightenment and cultural richness. Adeena, an eighth-grade luminary, eloquently delivered a captivating discourse on the profound subject of 'The First Revelation of Quran.' Following this, the stage was enlivened by the grace and enthusiasm of third-grade students who enthralled the audience with a mesmerizing group dance, showcasing their devotion to the occasion palpable.
Anum Omeir, a virtuoso of Grade 10, recited a resplendent Arabic poem titled 'The Guidance was Born,' adroitly translated into English by Fiza Ali, also of Grade 10. This linguistic fusion illuminated the hearts of all present. Fathima Narmin of Grade 11, graced the gathering with insights into Prophet Muhammed's teachings on sustainability and the environment, a lesson not just for today but for all time. The assembly resonated with the vibrant participation of students in a thematic quiz, where their sagacious answers affirmed their grasp of the assembly's essence.
Our esteemed Principal, Dr. Bhavna Gupta, in her keynote address, engaged in an interactive dialogue with the students, fostering introspection. She sought their thoughts on the values and messages imbibed, underscoring their importance in life's tapestry. The Vice Principal, Mr. Thomas Francis, lauded the Islamic department and the students for orchestrating the assembly with finesse. His reminder of two quintessential Islamic tenets - Charity and Humility - resonated deeply. He also stressed the essence of Islam, an unwavering submission to the divine will. The assembly, a melange of spiritual introspection and cultural celebration, thus proved to be an enlightening odyssey, leaving indelible imprints of wisdom and unity in its wake.
