Superstar Rajinikanth pens emotional note on his brother's 80th birthday

Superstar Rajinikanth was at Isha in Coimbatore for Mahashivratri and then he headed to Bengaluru on February 19th to celebrate his elder brother's 80th birthday. The Tamil star got emotional during the occasion as it was a double celebration - it was also the birthday of his nephew, Ramakrishna. Ramakrishna is the son of his elder brother. Rajinikanth and Latha looked very happy to be with family members and Rajini penned an emotional note on social media.

Rajinikanth wrote, "Had the happiness of celebrating the 80th birthday of my brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad and the 60th birthday of his son Ramakrishna on the same day with my family. Felt blessed to shower gold on this golden heart which made me who I am today. Thankful to god."

Rajinikanth is known to be close to his elder brother and has always consulted him on major life decisions. However, Rajinikanth's daughters and their families were not present on this occasion.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is busy shooting for his film Jailer. This action film marks his first collaboration with Nelson Dilipkumar and the cast includes Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff and Shiva Rajkumar. The Sun Pictures-backed film's music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The audience and Rajini fans are eagerly waiting for this film.
