Comedian and TV host Subi Suresh passes away at the age of 41
Malayalam actor, comedian and television presenter Subi Suresh passed away on Wednesday, February 22. She was 41 years old. Subi was being treated for a liver ailment in a private hospital in Aluva.
According to her friends, Subi was hospitalised for liver treatment and the doctors had suggested a transplant. However, her condition worsened before the surgery.
She made her debut in show business through a comedy programme called Cinemala aired in Asianet many years ago. She also acted in films like Happy Husbands, Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Pachakuthira and others.
Subi was known for her humorous presentations in television shows like Kutty Pattalam in Surya TV and Made For Each Other on Mazhavil Manorama.
She made her film debut in the 2006 film 'Kanaka Simhasanam', directed by Rajasenan. In the later years, she featured in several movies like Happy Husbands, Elsamma Enna Aankutty among others. Born in Thripunithura in Ernakulam, she was active in school and college events and competitions.
Subi is survived by her parents and brother.
