‘Nayak’ in real life, as 20-year-old Shrishti Goswami becomes Uttarakhand CM for a day

Srishti will look at the functioning of the CM office before reviewing the schemes.

Srishti Goswami today took over as chief minister (CM) of Uttarakhand for a day on national girl child day, January 24. Srishti will rule from the summer capital of Uttarakhand, Gairsain, and will review all the schemes of the Trivendra Singh Rawat government. These schemes include Atal Ayushman Yojana, Smart City Project, Tourism Department’s Homestay Scheme, and other development projects.

Srishti will look at the functioning of the CM office before reviewing the schemes. Officials from various departments of the Uttarakhand government will give a five-minute presentation on their schemes.

The Uttarakhand Commission for Protection of Child Rights has written a letter to the Chief Secretary to ensure the presence of all top officials in the program. Commission Chairman Usha Negi has said that the program will be held from 12.00 noon to 3 pm at the State Legislative Assembly Building.

Srishti Goswami is currently the Chief Minister of the Children’s Legislative Assembly of Uttarakhand. She is a resident of Daulatpur village in Haridwar district and is currently doing B.Sc from Agriculture. Her father Praveen is a businessman and her mother Sudha Goswami is a housewife.

Srishti Goswami is very talented. She represented India at the Girls International Leadership held in Thailand in the year 2019. And since 2018 she has been playing the responsibility of the post of CM in the Children Assembly. The Assembly is constituted by the NGO Bhuwaneshwari Ashram and the State Child Protection Commission. The aim is to develop leadership qualities in children.

Darshan Singh Rawat, the media coordinator of CM Rawat, said, “The move will inspire the girls of the state and the country to dream big and never feel inferior to boys. They are equal to boys and can achieve their dreams with hard work and determination.”
