Harsh Goenka shares pic showing innovative reuse of tyres as washbasins
The importance of recycling has become a necessity in contemporary times. Not only plastic goods, recycling and reusing rubber products have also become a much needed requirement. Industrialist Harsh Goenka has shared a post that shows an innovative way of reusing tyres and it has left the internet quite amazed.
Shared on Twitter, the post includes a picture of a washbasin. The body of the basin is made from a tyre. Also, the frame of the oval-shaped mirror is a tyre. Another striking thing in the picture is the water tap that is made from the outlet used to fill fuel at gas stations.
“Everyday I discover new uses of tires,” read the caption.
The post has been viewed over 37k times and received over 500 likes. Tweeple were pretty impressed with the clever use of tyres and commented on how the same should be used in train bathrooms. Many pointed out that the material will be prone to less corrosion and is indeed a better alternative.
“This is very creative,” wrote a Twitter user. “Very eco-friendly,” commented another. One, however, pointed out that tyres are flammable products and must be used with caution.
