Jeep Compass facelift: List of expected changes

The new Compass facelift model is likely to retain the same interior layout but the company could add a few soft-touch panels.

The current generation Jeep Compass has been on sale since last many years and the SUV is in a dire need of a midlife refresh, especially when the compact SUV segment has become even more competitive with the new rivals like Skoda Karoq, Volkswagen T-Roc, etc. To compete against these new rivals, Jeep will be launching Compass facelift model in India next year although the SUV will break cover this month in China, most probably at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2020.

Jeep Compass facelift: Design

The new Compass will continue to sport the existing model's silhouette. However, it will get a redesigned seven-slat signature grille. The new model will also get a completely redesigned front bumper with new air intakes and restyled fog lamp housing. The most notable change on the SUV will be with regards to the headlamps; the new model will get sleeker, smoked LED headlamps with more prominent contouring on the lower edge. Apart from these, we also expect the new Jeep Compass facelift model to get different design for alloy wheels, redesigned rear bumper, and new colour options on offer.

The new Compass facelift model is likely to retain the same interior layout but the company could add a few soft-touch panels. Besides this, we also expect the SUV to get a bigger multi-information display for the instrument cluster and a new touchscreen infotainment screen with new Uconnect Services for features like emergency services, smartwatch connectivity, roadside assistance, vehicle health reports, live navigation, etc.
