New Land Rover Discovery SUV revealed

After launching new Defender, Discovery Sport, and Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover has taken the wraps off new Discovery. This is essentially a mid-life refresh for the current generation model that was launched in 2016. In its new avatar, the SUV gets a modern styling, cleaner powertrains, and a plethora of modern gadgetry. According to the iconic SUV maker, the new Land Rover Discovery is also a more versatile seven-seater model than the previous iteration.

The new Land Rover Discovery sports the same silhouette with the stepped-up roof as its predecessor but gets a plethora of new and modern elements. The SUV gets a new front-end design highlighted by a new grille, completely redesigned LED headlamps with LED DRLs, animated sweeping front indicators, body-colour front fender vent, and a redesigned front bumper with new side vents. The new Discovery also gets a clamshell bonnet, a prominent character line running across the length of the SUV, a new design for the alloy wheels, LED tail lights that are joined by a gloss black panel. The customers can also opt for R-Dynamic model that adds Gloss Black and Shadow Atlas exterior accents and two-tone leather and contrast seat stitching on the inside.

The new Land Rover Discovery gets a redesigned interior layout which now gets Pivi Pro infotainment system that houses an 11.4-inch touchscreen. The SUV also gets a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster with full-screen 3D navigation guidance, a head-up display, wireless smartphone charger, a PM 2.5 cabin filter, and onboard 4G Wi-Fi hotspot that can be linked with up to eight devices at a time, four-zone climate control system, and wearable activity key.
