Keanu Reeves' Vintage Porsche 911 got stolen

Many celebrities, despite their deep pockets, seem to gravitate towards certain classic cars. The latest technology and luxury is second class against the love they feel for these machines and the pure joy and thrill of owning and driving one.

Keanu Reeves has some pretty incredible Porsches. He's very loyal and has much love for his Porsches. Unfortunately, his much beloved Classic Porsche 911 got stolen between a film set. However, Porsche built him a replacement custom 911 which is even more impressive; a token for his appreciation and loyalty for Porsche.

Keanu is known for his love of motorcycles and classic cars, especially Porsches. It all started when his grandmother gifted him a Porsche 911 toy car.

For Keanu, his classic Porsches are not just collector's items. He loves actually driving them. He once spoke about one of his classic Porsches on the Top Gear programme. It had a sport exhaust and manual transmission. There is nothing that is more perfect of an "excuse" he said, to venture up the Pacific Coast Highway.

The new Porsche 911 is far from any ordinary 911. It is fully equipped with customisations and personalised to Reeves' tastes and requests. The car was a modern-day interpretation of an iconic classic Porsche—much like Singer Porsches, Gunther Works and RUFs.

Classic Porsches are loved by enthusiasts and celebrities all over the world because they were fast, simple and agile machines. They also had beautiful, timeless designs. Porsches before 1998—prior to the 996 generation, had the famous air-cooled engine that is sought after by everyone. It is revered among many big name owners like Harry Styles, Jerry Seinfeld and Kendall Jenner.

The Porsche 911, across all of its generations, continues to be one of the most desirable and influential cars.
