Shared on Twitter, the story was shared by a woman who was laid off on Tuesday. But, she was hired on Friday with a 50 per cent hike and tons of perks! Well, it does sound a bit impossible to happen to everyone. But it does give a note of optimism without which one is bound to slip into self-loathing about losing the job.
“Life update: I was fired on Tuesday. On Friday I got a job offer that pays me 50% more, WFH option, and more PTO,” read the post.
“This is a reminder to always back yourself. Never let the opinions of others make you question who you are or should be. (I’m saying this after letting myself wallow in self pity for several days),” the Twitter user added.
