Weightloss: Delhi cop loses 46 kg in 8 months
If you find the will to do something, you will surely be able to achieve it. This was further proved by a Delhi Police cop named Jitendra Mani. How, you may ask? Well, the senior police officer lost a whopping 46 kilos in 8 months. Yes, you read that right. After achieving this feat, he was also felicitated by police commissioner Sanjay Arora. So, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Metro) used to weigh around 130 kilograms and suffered from several health issues such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels. However, he realised that he wasn't healthy and decided to change his lifestyle habits and become fitter.
In a span of eight months, the DCP lost 46 kilos and reduced his waist size from 46 to 34 inches. He also normalised his blood-sugar and cholesterol levels without any medicine or pills. Moreover, for those eight months, the police officer lived without eating rice or chappati.
To become a healthier version of himself, Jitendra Mani makes sure to walk 15,000 steps every day. He also has food without any carbohydrates and consumes bottle gourd and bitter gourd juice. Mani also eats fruits such as apples, papayas, kiwis and guavas. Before having lunch or dinner, he has lots of fresh salad and drinks either coconut water or buttermilk in the afternoon.
Moreover, lunch for him is only green vegetables and lentils and evening snacks consist of roasted nuts or fruits. Dinner is only vegetable soup or chilli paneer. Mani also takes protein powder twice a day.
DCP Jitendra Mani was also felicitated by the police commissioner Sanjay Arora in front of several other police officers and dignitaries for his amazing transformation.
