Kerala: Healthy menu for COVID-19 isolation ward patients 

Likewise, Kerala is one of the first states in the country to open up isolation wards for the COVID-19 positive patients.

As the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 has reached all countries around the globe, governments have opened up isolation wards for the people.

Likewise, Kerala is one of the first states in the country to open up isolation wards for the COVID-19 positive patients. Kerala government has made sure to provide the best of the facilities to the patients living in isolation at various hospitals across the state.

The Ernakulam government medical college at Kalamassery is providing 2 menus for Indians and foreigners, confirmed Ernakulam district collector S Suhas.

The breakfast will be served at 7.30 am with a hearty meal of Dosa, sambar, 2 eggs , 2 oranges, tea, 1L mineral water for Indians while Soup, fruits ( raw cucumber, orange banana) boiled eggs 2 will be served for foreigners. A pre snack of fruit juice before lunch will be served.

Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm consisting of 2 chappathi, rice, fish fry, thoran, curry, curd, 1L mineral water for Indians while Toasted bread, cheese(if needed) with fruits will served for foreigners.

By 3.30 pm a snack consisting of tea and biscuits will be served to Indians while fruit juice will be given to the foreigners. A sumptuous dinner of Appam, veg stew, 2 Banana, 1L mineral water will be the menu for Indians while Toasted bread, scrambled eggs, fruits will be served to foreigners.

Additionally milk will be given to children. Likewise, more or less the same menu is being followed at most isolation wards across the state.

Not to forget, a newspaper everyday will be sure for everyone and tissues as well.

As of now, Kerala has 24 live Covid-19 cases in the state. A total of 268 people have kept in isolation at various hospitals across the state.
