Woman having extra-marital affair with her cousin slits 22-yr-old husband’s throat

In a shocking incident, a man was murdered allegedly by his wife in Agra. The woman was reportedly having an extramarital affair with her cousin.

According to a report in Times of India, the woman took the help of her paramour in murdering the victim identified as 22-year-old Vikram Thakur.

The incident took place in Khanda village under the limits of Barhan police station in Agra. The victim was working in a private firm in Noida.

He had returned to his village a week ago with his wife Raveena and his 1.5-year-old son. Police say the accused Raveena colluded with her paramour Pratap to murder her husband.  Pratap is an immediate neighbour of the couple.

"Raveena and Pratap killed the victim at around 2.30 am. The woman has been arrested while her paramour Pratap is still absconding. We have booked Raveena under Section 302 of the Indian penal Code (IPC). We are yet to recover the murder weapon. Once the other accused is arrested, we hope to recover the murder weapon," said Mahendra Singh Yadav, Barhan Station House Officer.

The victim's body was sent for autopsy. Vikram's body was found lying in a pool of blood with his throat slit.
