DMK chief MK Stalin said that people are falling prey to propaganda that NEET is a benign and beneficial exam, when the opposite is true.
He issued a statement saying people have some false impression on NEET that clearing the exam alone ensures medical studies, while they should realise that it works only till applying for a medical course.
Students from humble background could realise their medical dreams only if NEET is rolled back.
He further attacked political parties that claim TN students are performing better, calling it an eyewash.
Only 8 government school studying students could make their way to study medicine this year and government school students and government-aided school students are still struggling, he added.
