About 385 people have been booked in the city for allegedly flouting triple lockdown restrictions. Reports suggest that the city police registered 363 cases out of the total 385 and the rural police register 22 cases in this regard.

As per reports, the first day of the triple lockdown so largely deserted roads. Not only that there was heavy barricading along the main structures to avoid the movement of vehicles. The city police also sealed various point in the city.

Reports say that the city police had kept only 6 entry points open to the city on Monday. However, the points that were closed posed as hurdles in the way of ambulances that were ferrying patients to the hospitals.

After the ambulances faced problems at various sealed points in the city, the city police commissioner asked police to allow the passing of ambulances even through the sealed points.

As part of the triple lockdown protocol, health workers who are travelling to work should stick an A4 size printout of their identity cards on the front windscreen of their vehicles to avoid any scrutiny at checkpoints in the city. Reports also say that the medical ambulances can call up 0471 2558731 or 0471 2558731 for clarity on routes in the city.
