Women power in Narendra Modi Cabinet: List of women leaders included in council of ministers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to revamp his Cabinet on Wednesday and inducted many fresh faces including a record number of women. Seven women MPs including from BJP's UP ally Apna Dal have been inducted into the council of ministers.

Among the new entrants in Narendra Modi Cabinet is Lok Sabha MP from Delhi Meenakshi Lekhi. A well-known lawyer, Lekhi also served as National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Besides, she has also been a social activist and has been associated with several institutions, including the National Commission for Women, and several other organisations which are known for being protectors of the rights of women and children in the country.
Anupriya Singh Patel
Patel won Lok Sabha 2019 Lok Sabha election from Mirzapur on Apna Dal ticket. She is the daughter of late Dr. Soney Lal Patel, who was president of Apna Dal. She is educated at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
She is Lok Sabha BJP MP from Udupi Chikmagalur Constituency and hails from Karnataka. She is Master of Social Work (MSW) from Open University, Mysore and also studied from Roshni Milaya, Mangalore University.
Darshana Vikram Jardosh
Jardosh is Lok Sabha MP from Surat in Gujarat. Since 2019, she is member, Standing Committee on Finance and Member, Consultative Committee, Ministry of External Affairs. She also served as Vice President of BJP.
Annpurna is a BJP Lok Sabha MP from Koderma in Jharkhand. Since 2019, she is a member, Committee on Empowerment of Women and member, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Power and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. She also served as member, Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1998-2000.
