Renowned Kerala vlogger Rifa Mehnaz found dead in Dubai apartment

Renowned vlogger from Kerala, Rifa Mehnaz was found dead on Tuesday at her apartment in Al Jafiliya, Dubai. She was 20-year-old.

Rifa Mehnaz is survived by her two-year-old son and husband Mehnaz, who is also a vlogger.

Rifa who is a native of Kakul, Ballusseri in Kozhikode district had arrive in United Arab Emirates two months ago along with her husband.

As per reports, the circumstances surrounding her death are unclear.

“We are awaiting forensics report from Dubai Police. Hopefully, the body will be repatriated by this evening,” Indian social worker Ashraf Thamarassery told Khaleej Times on Wednesday morning.

Rifa was famous for her vlogs. Her content were about fashion, different foods and cultures. In addition to Vlogging, Rifa and her husband have released several music albums. Rifa has over 300,000 followers on Instagram and over 31,000 subscribers on YouTube.

The last post of Rifa was an Instagram story with her husband in front of Burj Khalifa.
