In what will be the latest update related to the Sidhu Moose Wala murder, it is now being reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang's next target was none other than Bollywood director Karan Johar.

According to reports, Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal, an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang revealed that the Bollywood director was a big target for the group.

Kamble reportedly spoke to the investigators and told them about how the gang had already planned to target the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director for extortion, said a police official.

As per a police official, Kamble was a close aide of Santosh Jadhav, a suspected shooter in the Moosewala murder case, and was aware of the murder conspiracy.

According to reports, Kamble is in the custody of Pune rural police for an earlier case registered in the district.

However, teams of Delhi Police's Special Cell, Punjab Police, and Mumbai Crime branch have been interrogating him in connection with the Moosewala murder and also the threat letter received by Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan.

Now, while the investigation is ongoing, a senior official has also reportedly revealed that these claims made by Kamble haven't yet been verified, and there could be a chance that there was an element of bragging in Kamble's statements.

According to a police official speaking to PTI, Kamble disclosed a lot of information about the Moosewala murder conspiracy and also named Santosh Jadhav and one Nagnath Suryavanshi as having been involved in the killing.
