Goldy Brar told shooter about Sidhu Moose Wala's security withdrawal: Police chargesheet
The Mansa Police, in a chargesheet filed in connection with the Sidhu Moose Wala murder, said that after receiving information that the Punjab government had scaled down the security for Moose Wala, Goldy Brar in May, had asked the shooters to "kill Moose Wala at the earliest".
Canada-based Goldy Brar is one of the main accused in the Moose Wala murder case.
On May 28, Goldy Brar passed on the information that the security of Moose Wala had been trimmed and conveyed to the shooters to rush to Mansa district.
After this, the shooters—Priyvrat Fauji, Deepak Mundi, Ankit Sirsa, Keshav, Kashish, Manpreet, and Jagroop Singh alias Roopa—arrived in Mansa to execute the plan.
On May 29, singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Punjab's Mansa district. His cousin and a friend, who were travelling in a jeep with him, were also injured in the attack. The autopsy report revealed that he died within 15 minutes of being shot at and had 19 bullets pumped into his body.
