Back in 2015, a minor woman in Aligarh was reported missing after she visited a local temple. Reportedly, on February 17, 2015, a 17-year-old girl’s father filed a police complaint in Aligarh stating that his daughter has been missing since she went to a local temple.
An FIR was lodged in the case against unknown persons under IPC sections 363 and 366. After some days of the incident, a dead body was also found, and as the case progressed, a man named Vishnu was accused of killing this girl.
Since then, Vishnu has been serving his sentence in jail in Aligarh. It has been 7 years since the incident, and Vishnu has been in jail all this time.

According to the most recent developments in the case, the girl who was declared dead seven years ago has been discovered alive.
She is not only mysteriously alive, but she is also married and has two children. According to the police, the woman had allegedly eloped with her lover and gotten married, as per a Mirror Now report.
Later, the couple shifted to Hathras district. Meanwhile, Vishnu’s mother approached the court, seeking justice for her son, who had been accused of kidnapping and killing the woman when she was a teenager.
Getting no help from the court, Vishnu's mother decided to take matters into her own hands. His mother started gathering evidence to prove that her son is innocent.
After doing a lot of searching, she eventually learned that the missing girl is alive and has been living in Agra all this time. According to reports, after confirming the girl’s identity, Vishnu’s mother sought help from some Hindu activists in Aligarh and approached SSP Kalanidhi Naithani.
The SSP ordered immediate action, and the girl, now a married woman, was arrested from the Hathras Gate area, in the village of Nagla Chokha. According to the most recent developments in the case, a special POCSO court has ordered the woman's DNA to be tested.
Vishnu’s mother has also reportedly stated that the girl’s family is now trying to force her to ‘compromise’ in the case.
