Railway ministry shares video of coaches adorned with art

The video shows a coach of a local train operating in West Bengal. Walls of the coach can be seen adorned with murals and paintings portraying the country life.

A video shared by the Ministry of Railways has gone viral on Twitter. It shows the initiative taken by the Ministry to revamp the dull local train coaches and make them vibrant and eye-catching. The clip has gathered a lot of attention and a section of the internet has praised the initiative whole-heartedly.

The video shows a coach of a local train operating in West Bengal. Walls of the coach can be seen adorned with murals and paintings. From portraying the country life to creating a vivid surrounding for the passengers, the coaches were painted while keeping a lot of things in mind. LED lights adorning the doors and windows can also be spotted in the video.

“Uplifting your Travel Experience! A coach facelift initiative has been undertaken by the Sealdah Division of @EasternRailway, where coaches are being adorned with art. Catch a glimpse of a train that runs on the Sealdah-Bangaon section,” read the caption.

The video has been viewed over 25k times and garnered over 1k likes. While many were impressed with the colourful decorations on the train coaches, some opined that the department should give attention to other problems faced by daily commuters like long delays and lack of service.
