Biryani is not just a popular dish in India, but it is also an emotion. There are only a few people who don't like the delectable rice-based dish, but there are many who can eat it every day. And, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella loves it too. How do we know, you ask? Well, while speaking at the Future Ready Technology Summit in Bengaluru on Wednesday, he had a disagreement with ChatGPT over biryani after it listed the dish as a popular South Indian tiffin. Read on to find out about it further.

It all started when Satya Nadella asked ChatGPT, a popular AI-enabled software and a chat-robot, to list the most popular South Indian tiffin items. That did not go down well with Nadella, who told ChatGPT that as a Hyderabadi, the software cannot insult his intelligence by calling biryani a South Indian tiffin.

The software apologised and said, "I am sorry." Yes, you read that right

Continuing the conversation with the chat robot, Nadella asked it to create a play on idli, dosa and vada, arguing to see who was better. He also asked it to make it like a Shakespearean play to keep things interesting.

ChatGPT is a chatbot launched by OpenAI in November 2022. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer follow-up questions, admit its mistakes and reject inappropriate requests.
