B'luru metro to not run from Mysuru Road to Kengeri from Jan 27-30

The services have been suspended in view of the commissioning works of the extension of the metro line beyond Kengeri to Challaghatta.

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) has announced a temporary suspension of Metro services between Mysore Road and Kengeri metro stations on the Purple Line of Namma Metro. The metro train services will not run for four days from January 27 to 30 (both days inclusive).

The services have been suspended in view of the commissioning works of the extension of the metro line beyond Kengeri to Challaghatta.

Additionally, Metro Train services will be available only between Balyappanahalli and Mysuru Road Metro stations on these days. Normal services on the Purple Line up to Kengeri will resume on the morning of January 31 at 5.00 am.

There will be no change in metro train services between Nagasandra and Silk Institute Metro Stations and trains will run as per schedule, the metro rail corporation said.

"Commuters are requested to co-operate to enable speeding up of the commissioning works of extension line beyond Kengeri," the press release from BMRCL read.
