Watch: Man shares video of bad quality food served on Vande Bharat train from Vizag to Hyderabad
A video of a man showing the bad quality of food being served on one of the Vande Bharat Express trains is doing the rounds of the internet. The clip was recorded on a Vande Bharat train from Vizag to Hyderabad which was launched in January this year.
The video was shared by a user named Pratap Kumar on Twitter. In the short clip, a man can be seen squeezing out oil from the vada served on the train. The oil collected in a container as the man complained about the bad quality of food.
According to the passenger, the food prices on a Vande Bharat train are quite high but the quality is not up to the mark.
"Food prices on Vande Bharat train ambitiously introduced by the central government are very high, quality is very bad," reads the caption of the post.
The video caused a flutter on social media and sparked a discussion among Twitter users. While some users disagreed with the claim, others came out in support.
"Food service is good in Vande Bharat train. Not as bad as claimed here," a user wrote.
Another user commented, "Shocking."
Even the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) took note of the video and responded to the passenger's concerns.
