Railway Ministry praises woman ticket inspector for collecting over Rs 1 crore in fines. See post

The Ministry of Railways took to Twitter to share the news and laud Rosaline Arokia Mary, a chief ticket inspector, for her commitment to her duties.

Rosaline Arokia Mary, a chief ticket inspector from Southern Railway, has recently made headlines for her impressive feat of collecting fines worth Rs. 1.03 crore from irregular and non-ticketed travellers. Her achievement has earned her the applause of the Ministry of Railways as well.

The Ministry of Railways took to Twitter to share the news and laud her for her commitment to her duties.

"Showing resolute commitment to her duties, Smt.Rosaline Arokia Mary, CTI (Chief Ticket Inspector) of @GMSRailway, becomes the first woman on the ticket-checking staff of Indian Railways to collect fines of Rs. 1.03 crore from irregular/non-ticketed travellers," reads the caption of the post.

The post garnered a lot of attention online as she was the first woman on the ticket-checking staff to collect such a substantial amount. Twitter users congratulated and praised her for a job well done.
