Rare 'rain of animals' witnessed in Telangana's Jagtial; video surfaces
Amid heavy rainfall in Telangana, people of Jagtial town witnessed something unique. People of Sai Nagar in Jagtial town woke up to a surprise on both Friday and Saturday as they found fish 'rain' from the sky.
Raining fish is a rare weather phenomenon called as "rain of animals" which happens when small water animals such as frogs, crabs, and small fish are swept into water spouts.
Meanwhile, the Central Water Commission issued an advisory to Bhadradri Kothagudem district about the water level at Bhadrachalam reaching a warning level by tonight. "Due to continuous rains in the upstream and release of Sripada Yellampalli project and Laxmi Barrage, the water level at Bhadrachalam may reach first warning level (43 feet) by tonight," said Central Water Commission in a release. "The actual forecast will be issued after reaching warning level," the release added.
