Hundreds of sheep follow runner on a trail, 'hilarious' internet calls it
Being close to nature is a human tendency, wouldn’t it be wonderful if nature itself came close to you? In fact, run after you! This is exactly what happened with a hiker in France when a flock of sheep in hundreds started following her trail behind her.
In a viral video posted by user Eleanor Scholz, a flock of sheep can be seen following the user as she hiked in the woods. "One of the best things I've seen. Do you think they're still chasing her?" she wrote with the video.
The user was hiking in France and encountered the sheep, she stopped and the sheep behind her also stopped and patiently waited, until the user started running again. The flock followed her on her hike up the woods soon after.
The posted video also explains what happened. The user wrote the text on the video. “Can't stop thinking about this bewildered trail runner I encountered while hiking alone in France. Apparently, a whole flock of sheep got lost and followed her for her whole run. When she started again they all ran after her. She is a shepherdess now,” the text read on the video.
The video is massively viral, and has garnered a lot of attention along with hilarious reactions. The video is sitting on 13 million views and 743k likes. A user commented on the video, “This is the craziest thing ever. I wonder how many miles they ran and if any of them have,” another added, “She stopped her watch when she stopped to wait for the whole flock to catch up!”
A user thought this is wild and wrote, “This is WILD!” while another user pointed, “They have now dubbed her “The Good Shepherd.” A user also said that this is what dreams are made of and thanked the user for sharing the video, “This is what dreams are made of! How wild to witness for both of you (and allll of them!). Thank you for sharing”
“I am so glad you captured this. This made me laugh for a solid five minutes. I can’t imagine having to stop and explain to everyone you pass that you also don’t really know why a whole herd of sheep is following you,” wrote another user.
