Dog travels over 100 km in a cab after getting lost during morning walk with owner

A three-year-old dog named Ralph got into a cab and travelled to Manchester airport after getting lost. The incident took place when the dog was out for a morning walk with its owner.

Pets have an incredible relationship with their owners, especially dogs. Such a dog lost its way during a morning stroll with its owner. The smart dog took a cab and reached its owner's place.

A three-year-old pet Cavapoo named Ralph was out on a Monday morning with its owner Georgia Crewe. As they were walking, Crewe stopped to have a quick chat with another dog parent. It is during this time that Ralph moved away from its owner. The dog lost its way and got into a cab that was going to the airport in Manchester, which was about 160 km away.

Recalling the details of the incident, Crewe stated, “A taxi had pulled up to pick up a family who were heading on their holidays. It was cold, and Ralph just jumped into the cab." Soon the cab driver spotted the little dog inside the taxi.

Subsequently, the driver began to check the dog to find the details of its owner. Well, there wasn't any luck. However, the kind driver did not give up. He took the dog along to the airport to drop off the family.

The driver then drove Ralph home to continue the search for its owner. Meanwhile, the owner of the dog conducted a three-hour search across the woodland at Gresford Quarry.

Luckily, the owner then posted the news of the missing dog on social media. As a result, a friend of the driver named Becky contacted the owner. She told the owner that the dog had got into a cab and travelled to the airport in Manchester. Later, the owner was united with his dog.

The owner is hoping to get a GPS tag for the dog to prevent such incidents in future.
