My Quarantine Days
Quarantine! Lockdown! These fancy words sound appealing and who wouldn't love to sit at home idle?! But just few days into lockdown my idle mind began to become evil's workshop. I began to overthink about my temporarily halted job, the world after the lockdown.
Realising the overthinking wouldn't do me much good, I thought of helping my mother and sister with the household chores which was not much of my genre before. But now I guess, I have mastered the art cooking. I have cooked a lot of dishes over which my sister still drools!!!!
I have been able to catch up with my school friends with whom I haven't talked in a while.
Now family time is all I have and I love that aspect of this lockdown. "All work and no play had made me a dull boy, but now All rest and no work makes me a lazy boy."
