6-yr-old Gujarat boy named world's youngest computer programmer

Arham Om Talsania is 6 years old and studies in second grade.

Gujarat's Arham Om Talsania has been recognised as the world's youngest computer programmer by the Guinness World Records. Born on January 24, 2013, his record was verified by Guinness on January 23, 2020, when he was 6 years and 364 days old. A Class 2 student and son of a software engineer, he cleared the Python programming language certification exam.

Arham Om Talsania is 6 years old and studies in second grade. At such a young age, he has passed the Microsoft certification exam from Pearson VUE testing center.

Arham Om Talsania told ANI, “My father taught me coding. I started using the tablet when I was 2 years old. At the age of 3 I bought gadgets with iOS and Windows. Later I came to know that my father was working on Python. “A young child of 6 years of Ahmedabad in Gujarat has made the entire country proud with his talent. A six-year-old Arham Om Talsania from Ahmedabad has cleared the Python programming language and entered the Guinness World Record as the youngest computer programmer in the world. It is a matter of pride for the whole country.

Talsania wants to become a business entrepreneur and help everyone. He said, “I want to be a business entrepreneur and help everyone. I want to create apps, games and systems for coding. I also want to help the needy.”

Talsania’s father is a software engineer himself. Talking about his son, he said that his son was interested in coding and taught him basic programming.

He said, “He was very young and very interested in gadgets. He used to play games on a tablet device. He used to solve puzzles as well. When he got interested in playing video games, he thought to make it and used to watch coding tutorials for this purpose"

He continued, “I taught him the basics of programming and he started making his own small games. He has also been recognized as a Microsoft technology associate. We also applied for the Guinness Book World Record.”
